OBTAINS ISO9001:2000 CERTIFICATION

JOPLIN, MO - August 18, 2003 - Mid-America Precision Products, LLC (MAPP) is proud to announce that it has obtained ISO9001:2000 certification for all operations of the company. The company was recently notified by third-party registrar, Orion, that its processes and procedures were in compliance with ISO standards. The certification applies to all MAPP facilities.

"This accomplishment is a major achievement for the company and demonstrates our commitment of delivering quality products to all our customers. It is a direct reflection on the entire MAPP team working together toward a common goal of total customer satisfaction," stated Brian McCoy, Quality Manager.

McCoy continued, "Mid-America Precision Products has a long history of providing highly engineered products to a diverse customer base and this certification process only strengthened our approach to the overall quality process."

Mid-America Precision Products specializes in the manufacture of close-tolerance sheet metal fabrications, machined parts, and value-added assemblies for aerospace, telecommunications, heavy industry, and computer storage markets. The company has four manufacturing locations in Joplin and one in Stella, Missouri.
